Food Cost Calculator Instructions
Income Instructions
First, fill in your income figures.
⮚ If you enter billing figures, check the “with VAT” option.
⮚ If you enter figures without taxes, check the “without VAT” option.
⮚ Remember that purchases have VAT rates of 4%, 10%, and 21%, while sales are only subject to a 10% VAT rate. Therefore, all calculations will be made without VAT to avoid confusion. In the “REAL INCOME” column, the figures will always appear without VAT, regardless of how you entered them.
⮚ Fill in the income figures in the “monthly income” column.
⮚ If you do not have monthly figures and only have an annual total, check the box for this option and enter the total amount in the displayed cell.
Once completed, proceed to the next page.
Cost Instructions
In this sheet, food and beverage costs will be recorded. Since each product has its specific VAT rate and income is calculated without VAT, you must enter your costs WITHOUT VAT in this table. This is very important.
⮚ If you have separate costs for food (kitchen) and beverages (wines, beers, water, coffee, liquors, etc.), enter the corresponding figures in each column.
⮚ If you do not separate your costs by department and only have a general total, fill in only the food column.
Once completed, proceed to the next Food Cost page.
